Biography

Dr.Ruisheng Wang is a distinguished professor in the Shenzhen University. He was a professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary from 2012 to 2024. Before that, he worked as an industrial researcher as HERE Technologies (formerly NAVTEQ) in Chicago, USA since 2008. His primary research focuses there was mobile LiDAR data processing for next-generation map maling and navigation. Dr.Wang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University, an M.Sc.E. in Geomatics Engineering from University of New Brunswick, and B.Eng. in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University, respectively.
